Not bad for 21 years and 160,000 miles.
I probably should have left it alone. But I’m one of those “If it ain’t broke, fix it till it is” personalities.
Plus he was getting hard to start on damp/wet mornings.

Original plugs? Really?

And wires! They haven’t fared as well but the 1995 is clear as day on them.

Trikes have odometers? Someone put 160,000 miles on a trike?

Totally worth replacing. You got the 302, right?

Guy called in to Car Talk once - LS400, 350K - had done nothing but the bulbs, wiper blades, and tires. Same plugs and wires.
What is Crusty?

Ha! If anyone is going to do that it’ll be me.

Yeah, 5.0. The “4.9" would have been nice though.

At least the parts are cheap! My Mustang’s quite happy with stock copper core plugs, but I splurged on a Ford Racing wireset, which was still only about $40.

I remember that show! Damn, I miss those guys.
Crusty is a 1995 F150 I bought as a cheap beater and turned into a DD.
(I put 30k on it since I got it in Nov of 14)

I learned a lesson about Fords and fancy parts when I had my first Supercoupe. Total waste of money..
The Motorsport wires are well worth their price though.

The show is still on in some markets in reruns ... and I got free t-shirts by writing bits for them. It’s NPR, so you don’t expect money.

No kidding? That’s great!
They’re still in reruns in Chicago. I usually put them on on Bluetooth when I’m driving on the weekends. My Sunday drive playlist is Prarie Home Companion, Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me and Replays of Car Talk.
